Director of BIM- Istanbul Grand Airport
He received his BSc & MSc in Civil Engineering & Construction Management from METU, Turkey and PhD in Construction Innovation and Technology Management from Loughborough University, in UK. He worked for the largest private contractor in the UK operating in Europe, the Middle East and Australia. He worked on major projects in diverse sectors (energy, residential, commercial, education, and manufacturing) up to US$6 billion.
Following the experience in Europe; he moved to Middle East and worked for the joint venture to build $2.9bn Abu Dhabi International Airport-Midfield Terminal Building (MTB). Furthermore; he managed and delivered Integrated BIM Solutions to major airports, retail, residential and commercial sector projects in the Middle East (around $12 billion programs) as design, program and facilities Management.
Currently; he works for IGA- Istanbul Grand Airport as Director of BIM; managing and delivering the World’s largest BIM scope & project from design to operations.
He has vast experience on project and value management, design management, health, safety and environmental management, innovation and technology management, lean and collaborative working in construction. He has various international journal, book, industry publications; lectures & speeches in the specialized areas.
