Dr Yusuf Arayici is a professor in Civil Engineering in Hasan Kalyoncu University in Turkey, previously was a Reader in the School of the Built Environment at the University of Salford in the UK, involved in a number of research and enterprise projects, including the EU funded (£2M) DIVERCITY (Distributed Virtual Workspace for enhancing Communication and Collaboration) Project, the EU funded (£1.5M) INTELCITIES (Intelligent Sustainable Cities) Project, which was exhibited in EPSRC’s engineering showcase in 2005, the ERDF funded (£800K) VEPS (Virtual Environmental Planning System) Project, the EPSRC funded (£2.5M) SUREGEN (Integrated Decision Support System for Sustainable Urban Regeneration) project, and as a knowledge based supervisor in the KTP project (£110K) of BIM (Building Information Modelling) adoption to John McCall Architects (JMA) located in Liverpool.
